The rooms at this hotel were spacious and comfortable, with plenty of blankets and duvets to keep us warm at night. the traditional Japanese style made the experience unique and interesting. the onsen was a highlight of our stay, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience after a day on the slopes. the location of the hotel was also convenient, with easy access to restaurants and shops in the surrounding area.
Although the hotel had its charming quirks, it could definitely use an update, as some areas appeared run down. there were a few communication difficulties due to the staff's limited English, but they were still friendly and helpful.

The location of this hotel is superb, being close to the ski hill and within easy access to other nearby resorts. We loved how convenient it was to hop on a local train to Myokokogen and explore the area. The staff at this hotel were incredibly attentive and provided excellent service throughout our stay, making us feel well taken care of. The rooms had a cozy, traditional feel and we especially appreciated the fireplace, adding a warm and inviting atmosphere. The breakfast served at this hotel was delicious, giving us a taste of traditional Japanese cuisine to start our day.
The shower in the room was a bit rustic, but functional enough for our needs.

The location of this hotel is excellent - conveniently situated between ski areas, near the shops, and close to the ski hill. It makes getting around a breeze. Secondly, the staff at this hotel are truly wonderful. They are friendly, helpful, and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Special mention goes to Kumiko at the front desk for her exceptional service. Lastly, the rooms are a standout feature of this hotel. They are not only spacious but also well-decorated and recently updated. It's a pleasant surprise to find such comfortable accommodations.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic.

The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms had ample hot water for a relaxing bath after a day of skiing. The heaters in the room provided fantastic heat, and we even used the walk-in area as a drying room for our ski gear. The hotel's location allowed for convenient ski in and ski out access, as it was close to the ticket office and chairlift. The staff, despite limited English, made an effort to accommodate us and were incredibly friendly. The presence of school groups added a fun atmosphere to the hotel.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

Christmas at this hotel was a fantastic experience! The spacious rooms were a delight, with ample space to relax and unwind. The hot water in the bathroom was always available, perfect for a relaxing bath after a day of skiing. The location of the hotel was key, with easy access to the slopes and the ticket office. But what I enjoyed the most was the friendliness of the staff. Despite the language barrier, they went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. It truly made our Christmas stay special.
There were a few things that could be improved. The value for money was a bit on the expensive side compared to what was offered.
